You should proceed with caution. Even if someone manages to gate it, I see multiple accounts losing it quickly after a month or so

I have got a contact recently who offering blue badge on all platforms even on twitter while twitter official announced closure. i spoken with him he asked me to pay $400 for each platform (50% upfront). I politely replied to him fuck off

The main factor is how popular you are and there are also other factors like if you have any Wikipedia page or any article. Having a verified FB account page also helps. If you are popular then only you can get verified but still you will have to pay money and its not cheap.
If you have all these things then you can go to the link on @t0mmy profile and there you can fill the form to see if you can get verified.

and if you have a lot of "fake" pages on instagram that try and copy your name. for example if you have a lot of fan pages trying to act like you then you have a higher chance. i found an account with 400 followers verified and sure enough when i looked up there username there were 5-10 fake fan page accounts (probably run by the same person) created and they were all relevantly new. so yeah fake fan pages help just a lil

Definitely not only celebrities. I also know many average YouTuber (10k subs) and some wannabe entrepreneurs who got the blue tick.

Yes, I guess many of them are also in contact with agents and agencies. I know some people working for TV channels, but they are not really actors or celebrities. They just work in the background, but they have the connections to get verified. One guy I know works for a TV channel and he edits some shows. He made a YouTube channel with tutorials how to use video editing softwares. He got around 300 subs, average views around 2k. On IG he got 400 follower, but still he got verified.

I guess he got connections. Someone working for IG, or someone who knows someone. I know there are some agents/agencies/journalists who got connections to people working for FB/Instagram/Twitter etc. Must be easy for them to get verified.
