Obviously if you’re not using a bot, you can’t use all of the targeting filters that advanced bots can, so when growing manually using follow unfollow you won’t get as big a growth.

But. And it’s a big but. If you manage to train a VA to grow accounts and you trust them with your clients login, do you think that it’s feasible, and is anyone here already hiring VAs to do this?

It would wipe out the risk of automation, and the risk of losing potential clients.

Does automation still work?
Yes.

Do I feel comfortable risking my clients businesses Instagram account (a valuable asset)?
No.

Looking forward to hearing what you guys think.

Just use mother/slave method. Sharing your client account login details with anyone is unprofessional as fuck. VAs and follow/unfollow by hand is most newbie method you can perform. Dont be newbie.

You make a good point, thanks.

Yea there are other ways to grow accounts but what you outlined isn't a bad idea. Especially if they're paying you x,xxx/month to manage their account. Putting aside $250/month max for a dedicated VA isn't a terrible idea, plus you can have them do other tasks too with the free time they have.

If you are going to work on newly created account then you can use bot. But if account have thousand of followers already then you can use mother/child method.

Yes,

A "Hybrid" Method of automation is something that I have been testing in the past weeks.

Using a VA to do the most critical action, Follow. All other actions can still done through the bot such as unfollow, DM and like (in some cases)

When using a VA you can really do really good targeting with genders. Just have the VA only follow profiles with a visible photo of desired gender.

The trick is for for you to streamline the process, so the VA is minimally invasive. All they have to do is click or tap follow from a source that could be in list form (such as likers of recent post)

There is some good MDM software (Mobile device management) that will allow you to easily setup and interact with physical mobile devices. Where the VA can even have several phones on one screen, and proceed with clicking. Or tap on phone.

If you can get the resources for the right price, it can be a viable way to do higher tier client management.

I was considering implementing a mix of manual and bot actions but haven't tested. As always though the key diversification and randomization. Mix it up and avoid footprints

But wouldn't this be too many logins in too many different places that might trigger something from IG such as action blocks or suspicious activity?

For example I see 4 different locations:

VA - Their device on their wi-fi connection, and if they are running more than 10-15 accounts on same IP, these accounts will be toast. The VA would need dedicated phones.

Growth Service Owner - probably same problem as VA on same IP or needing dedicated phones.

Unfollow software/ Jarvee / etc.

Account Owner/Client

Since long time ago I don't mess anymore with clients accounts. Simply building fans accounts pushing traffic to their main one.
Less trouble and more piece of mind. When you lose client account it's not the best feeling. haha
