Instagram Username Purchase

I recently purchased a rare IG username, and the seller warned me not to attempt to transfer the OG name to a different account because people are running turbo software to capture rare names. Is this a legitimate concern? If I had two phones open at once, and changed the usernames as quickly as humanly possible is there any concern? Thank you anyone and everyone for input.

Yes, people do run bots 24/7 to claim OG usernames. Though I'm not sure there able to claim them that fast. I don't know how advanced some are, but the ones I've seen are literally just a .txt file of OG usernames and the account goes through and tries to claim usernames. Not sure how profitable it would be, but if you had 100 accounts all trying to change usernames 24/7 you'd probably get some good ones.

Thank you for the response. Im sure the people make good money (as is the case with the person who sold me the account). My question would be if some random person was running the turbo software 24/7 to get the username I have, would that software still be faster then me attempting to switch the username with two phones?

PM me the username and I'd probably be able to give you a better answer based on how rare it is. If you really wanted to, might as well just buy the bot that claims usernames and set it up to claim yours right when it's available. Then could also use the bot for your IG username journey. I'm sure it's a useful tool.

How can I do this?
I have 30 profiles, it would be interesting to find good names for instagram.
 
Yeah OP, those stories are true, i wouldn't risk changing the name even if it's just for seconds, you would need to have a really fast phone.

Hopefully you find a solution though. Good luck :)

Any idea how much? I have a 1 word account, but it only has 8k followers. I only post a photo to it every few weeks/months, but I see a lot of people tag me in, by just writing a sentence and putting an @ in front of that word.
 
If you have an OG username, it is too much risky to transfer the username on different account. Sometimes people just sell a trashy account with great username, not only the username, because it is just too risky due to people who are running their turbo software to claim rare OG's 24/7.
