Hello everyone,

Does somebody know exactly what is the logic for Instagram Top Posts?

Only likes for photos?
And likes and views for videos?

Thanks to everyone who read this post.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think (from my experience) it has something to do with the engagement rate on your content and how fast your audience engages with the content.
So it's not about how many likes you get, but about engagement.

I think the same way too

and depending on what u like most from the ppl u follow (from what page, and what type of content).

I made a couple of test with the # top but i got 2 results after adding 500 likes on a # with 50k pics :

Case 1: The post actually got "treding" for some user related to the account when they search for that #

Case 2: Some friends of my with no relation at all with the account on another country saw the post as a trending on the # but some of them no.

I think that Instagram works also making a post "top" depending of your circle maybe 2-3 friends or your real friends.. but it's just a theory haha..
