I've been unfollowing people for 3 days and every time I do so, I get banned. I can still do everything on Instagram except unfollow people. Instagram thinks I'm a spammer as I'm obviously doing it too fast. I've tried doing it slower and it's the same problem. Will Instagram eventually disable my whole account if I get too many temporary unfollowing bans?

Once you trip the wire, you're flagged and this account will always be limited.

Instagram will not be banning your account completely. I don't think that'll happen to you. However, you should also do your part. Make sure that you minimize your activity from now on, so Instagram won't have reasons to disable your account.

They will not ban you account parmanently but you have to unfollow now slowly.They can reset your password too
