To the people who have shoutout pages, have you done an Instagram takeover before? You give a person control of your account so they can post their own content and answer questions?

Ive heard of Snapchat takeovers before but never for an actual IG account. It sounds like an easy way to get your account stolen lol.

to even ask mean your attempting it and u will be F*ked

yeah sure and don't forget to give 'em the keys to enter your house.

Haha. The trend came from bigger brand names giving their accounts to celebrities to post for the day. I know this is a much smaller scale but was wondering if it was common. Perhaps the snapchat takeover is more common...and safer lol

Why would you even post this?

If you read a little closer, it's a legitimate question. If not an account takeover, how about snapchat takeover? I'm just trying to learn here. I thought that was the purpose of this forum?

I wouldn't recommend doing this with any social network, celebrity or not.

If you are a big business you can surely do that having more warranties of not being scammed.

Even if the account said that the celebrity is 'taking over for the day' it a load of horseshit that people like you fall for thus creating more hype.

Sadly, you also probably think that Operation Repo is real.

Also don't forget to get their paypal email and password as well :D

Actually in some niches this is very common. Especially in the travel niche I see famous bloggers taking over accounts of tourism agencies and what not. It's like a reverse shoutout..dunno if it pays of for them. But seeing that on a daily basis.

Thats different: They have contracts then and those celebrities do not steal accounts as they could be easily sued and their reputation ruined.
Never do something like this with a random stranger.
