Hey y'all, first of all...why does everyone think i'm a dude? my name is ksGIRL ha. Anyways, I recently got into a direct sales business & i'm trying to grow my business w/ instagram. I currently have 3 instagrams that i'm using that all target my market which is beauty & wellness. I used to have a make up instagram where i basically posted selfies & i had an 8k following- so I know how to post good content & get good interaction. My question is, how many of you have had a successful instagram where you actually sold product through it? I'm not looking for tips or tricks (although that's always welcome).. just wanting to hear some success stories. & how many followers did it take before you started seeing good sales? I just bought Follow Liker to help build my insta's.

I'm new on instagram just started my journey but I have 21k followers on twitter. I can't post thread bcoz I'm noob so just want to ask some questions.
I have 100 followers on instagram my niche is cars getting 15 per photo likes. How can I grow my account in my niche? Is this niche is good or I choose another. I want some tips help me plz nd most important I don't have money:p
 
I have an 30.6K account and I have gained 350-400$ in 2 weeks and would never believe it would happen one day! only with one account. In the beginning I emailed companies but then I just didn't want to sell anymore and wanted to wait and grow my account even more but sells just kept coming in (emails and stuff). I think once you have 1000 likes or 800-950 likes on your picture you can start monetizing this baby.

My biggest advice: keep reading threads on this forum and looking for tips. It saved my life:p
 
never sold any product, although i had success with CPA and ig before, ~$250 a day consistently for a few months
how many followers? well, i didn't really care about the accs, i had around 200 accs at any given time with ~5k followers each, gaining around 50k followers per day total (there was a little exploit which allowed me to follow to the max 7.5k limit in a few secs using a bot), accs got banned pretty fast, but i just made new ones, so at any given time i had around 1 million real followers, considering this i could have done better :)
obviously this was a whole other approach than what you're doing

btw there are no girls on the internet :P

Yep one of the best insta journeys. He reached his goal in 4 days.
Had some ups and downs and after a year or more he started earning 1K a day
 
A related question (perhaps)... how would you compare Instagram to Pinterest? Why is one better over the other when it comes to making sales? I have a 35K+ following on Pinterest, no Instagram account yet. Just want to see if it's worth the extra work. BTW, Pinterest has been great to drive traffic to my sites but haven't figured out how to make direct sales.

P.S. Yeah, there are a few of us "GIRLS" on the net ;)

He started years before and was using a different method at the beginning, until IG started becoming strict, which made him buy an account and grow it, which took him a few weeks. The thing is, accounts grow a lot faster when you have more followers, even he said that himself, it's very slow at the beginning, but as the time goes and you get more followers, it'll eventually go faster. So never give up and wait for your 5 minutes :)

I haven't used Pinterest, but from what I've heard it's decent to drive traffic for SPECIFIC niches. It doesn't work well with all kind of niches, Instagram is kinda bigger and therefore it has more options imo. Beside that, it's easier to reach a bigger audition on Instagram, if you had 35K+ real followers you would grow to 100k in no time, and from there it will take only a few weeks to grow to a million (based on the journey I posted above). It probably will be harder to achieve that on Pinterest, but it's still a great network :)

Oh yeah I have 18.4k right now but am gaining quite fast :)
 
On one of my campaigns, I would drive traffic to my mini ecommerce site that had an optin.

They had to sign up in order to receive a freebie or coupon/discount.

I can tell you this works for me and others. And it's not just IG but other traffic sources as well.
 
hi ksgirl, before you purchase the FL, how can you gain follower until 8K ?
is it from following other ? liking other ? or promote your ig account in different social media / site / blog ?

do u mind to create a journey thread ? that would be a very nice story of you and your ig account :)

That's great motivation, how many likes do you get on each pic, an average that is.
 
I got 8k followers through originally following a lot of accounts (when insta wasn't as strict) & unfollowing. Soon I was getting shouted out on 100k-300k accounts because they liked my make up looks.. so it kind of just came to me. I originally just had set my sights to get a 1k following but it quickly grew. Right now I have 3 accounts... I can create a journey thread. I just started using FL today. I had already built one of my accounts up to what now is 1202 followers in a short time.
 
Ha. Who run the world? GIRLS. Of course we're on the internet ;)

Making that much money with in the comedy niche, all of that you make from shoutouts or you have other sources of income?
