Instagram Story Mentions Notifications

It's an interesting subject because I was actually able to garner a lot of attention towards IG celebrates with this too but suddenly this has stopped and my mentions are only going into their DM requests again.

Just wondering if there is a limit on how many times you can do this. I looked everywhere on the net about it but no one seems to mention about it. Just curious if anyone here knows about it.

I find this a lot, you cannot find much public consensus on anything Instagram very easily. Many people's accounts function differently and I believe they do this intentionally so there is always asymmetry of knowledge between people to prevent algo abuse.
However for me, mentions have been noticed.

Yeah, mine have too man, it's just the problem is that it doesn't happen all the time or lately it just hasn't happened at all.

That's why I am wondering if IG has a limit on how many mentions you can post or if you can post them only every so often to actually garner the attention of people who have LOADS of followers. That's what I am trying to find out lol.

How many are you sending? I think for business accounts there is a setting / filter for which messages go into requests.
