Instagram stories, good for engagement or no?

I've been thinking of starting to use instagram stories on my accounts, but I couldn't find any PC software that would let me upload stories, so the only way to do it would be straight from the phone, which is time consuming or via android simulator, which is time consuming too. I'm just trying to see if anyone has had any success with using this feature, is it worth the hassle?

Yes, I get 4-5 DM's every time I post a story. (I rarely post them, like once every 2 weeks) - I should start posting them more.

Jarvee works just fine, but I don't think that posting an story take that much time

IG stories work great for me. I get a lot of DMs from them and usually get views slightly higher than my average likes there.

Stories have been said to increase your engagement. You can promote your latest post and you can create content specifically for stores.

One great feature is asking a question (related to your niche) and doing a poll. It's a great way to get engagement on a story.
