Instagram social button wordpress

Iv just set up a wordpress blog, I am using the Jarida theme and am using the standard social counters, my twitter and facebook button are working fine but the instagram is showing 0 which is incorrect. Can someone please advise me on what to do

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that. I was unaware that you could share things via instagram from blogs. They're pretty specific about the fact that you're only supposed to be able to post from mobile devices.
Do you mean a "follow" button?
 
yes that's right, it's just a button which displays the amount of followers you have and when you click on it you go to the profile
 
It's a widget. Iv inserted the developer key, it's still showing 0 though. It's very annoying.
