Instagram side project? Affiliate or CPA?

I want to start a little side project, mostly or fully automated. I keep reading about yall getting crazy with Instagram, so i wanna do a little small-scale playing around with it. I have a secondary lap top i can use for this.

I would create a niche Instagram account and promote a niche product.

Growth

I have a script to follow people on Instagram from a list of usernames. I'll find other accounts in the same niche as my account and follow the shit out of their followers. I have another script to unfollow people. I saw in a Journey thread here somebody mentioned auto DM'ing new followers, so i'll see if i can set that up somehow for free too. That takes care of following/unfollowing, so growth. I'll look into warm up and limits and delay times and break times later. Ill also probably make a script to do some liking too, so that its not all just follow/unfollow with the account.

Monetization

I would create a niche instagram account around a certain niche. But i cant decide, do i do Clickbank or CPA? Whats safer? Whats more likely to succeed?

I could promote one of my websites, but i sell social media services. Instagram will ban my account or block my website link before long, and i dont want to churn and burn or get into cloaking here.

Content

The posting would be done manually, but i would look into automating that too. I would take photos/videos from wherever and repost. Id look into how to do it safely, dont wanna get flagged for copyrights or something stupid. How many posts per day is safe? I know, account age matters, but give me a base to work with. 5? 10? 50?

To the bank

The route to cash would be link in bio. I would also possibly watermark all photos and videos i post with short url that leads to whatever im promoting. Id also use hashtags in my posts, more likely to be found. And DM's to all new followers.

If i get some good answers and can work out something doable and manage to automate most of it, ill make a journey thread and get on with it.

I think CPA and Clickbank is treated equally by IG. So just go for the one which is more profitable (IMO is CPA)

So you think CPA. I have to say, im a little more comfortable with Clickbank. You know, get link, shorten it, get outrageous comissions on sales. CPA on the other hand, ive never done it before.

Also a clickbank product will be there for long term. And if it goes, ill find a suitable replacement. CPA offers come and go as far as i know. All of a suddent the offer im promoting vanishes and i dont check the account for a week, and i end up promoting a big fat nothing.

Of course, i can always change the destination of my short link at any time. But i dont want to masturbate to this too much.

Am i wrong?

Are you sure that with Clickbank you can simply shortening the affialiate link and pur it into your bio?
(it is a question! I'm doing Clickbank too in IG but I've create a prelander...nevertheless is IG don't ban my account without it, I'd prefer to directly send traffic to the offer...)
So, are you sure is it possible to directly put a shortener with the product offer landing page in the bio?

Oh sorry. No im not. And ive wondered about that for a second, but it was a very short second.

I guess id use a pre lander then. But i dont want to buy a domain name for this, and i dont feel like using a free blogspot either. I feel like a free blogspot domain name would kill conversions. Hm... maybe id record a video and post it on Youtube and then promote the Youtube video on Instagram. That way id also get some traffic from Youtube too.

Maybe id do the youtube video, but the clickbank offer id promote, id find one where the seller has like an affiliate area on his site, and has his own prelander. Do clickbank affiliates generally have their own prelanders?

no, they havn't. they just pubblish their landing page with the product offer.
At the moment I'm using Wix with NO my own domain. I'm using it in free version. (I've got no skills in website designing and I'm not able to make my own by wordpress, so Wix is an easier and quicker choice!)
I've been started a couple of week ago.
At the moment I have 2 accounts:
1) with a clickbank offer via Wix prelander
2) with an Ogads CPA via Wix prelander

At the moment 0 conversion at all
1) 0 went to the clickbank offer on 26 click to the bio link - so they stopped at the prelander)
2) pre-lander with content locker pubblished just yesterday...so I have to wait a couple of days in order to verify numbers...

Right. I realized what i said was stupid about a seller prelander after i posted it. Sorry, im a little tired.

Actually thinking about it again, making a Youtube video could work. Youtube isnt that strict with affiliate links. A friend of mine made some money about a year ago with some bullshit video he uploaded on youtube promoting a clickbank offer selling beats or something like that.

The good thing with a youtube video is people trust youtube, and you can make a nice video to push and convince people to click the link in the description and go buy. And you would then possibly get traffic directly from youtube too.

And then you shorten the youtube video and promote that on instagram. The only question i have is how does youtube feel about shortened clickbank affiliate links in 2018. Gotta look into that.

What i like about this idea is, twitter doesnt give a shit, so your tweet is pretty safe. Also people trust twitter for the most part. But most of all, when someone goes from Instagram to your tweet, they're not greeted with some horrible prelander they have to read or some horrible youtube video they have to watch, theyre greeted with a nice small tweet thats short and looks like its on steroids with the 1000s of retweets and likes it has. And all they have to do it click the link (the shortened aff link) in the tweet, and they get to to clickbank offer.

Yeah. The tweet idea sounds appealing to me. What do you think?

I've read a lot ot Twitter journey and sounds good promising, but I never tried it.
The "limit" is that seems Twitter could be a very good "booster" but you need an interesting number of account to create a sort of chain reaction.
Botting accounts to make them get bigger and bigger in the niche and then tweet, like and retweet betwen them the shortened link...recapping the various journey this could be the key! (but is just a supposion...)

It's a good idea. Just remember don't use the video from seller's landing page to promote your link ,otherwise Clickbank will ban you. I used to make Whiteboard video with the voice and music taken from seller's video and Clickbank banned me.

I see what youre saying. But im not talking about having sex with twitter. Im talking about engineering the tweet. Steroids. Twoids

You create a twitter account. You buy 1000 followers or more, upload nice photo and cover, fill bio, get it looking good. You make the tweet, make sure you make a Good tweet that catches attention and makes people want to click the link in it. A few hashtags wouldnt hurt. Then you also send a few k retweets and likes to the tweet. Engineer it, give it steroids, make it look popular.

Im not trying to promote the tweet on twitter here. Im trying to make the tweet look good to the Instagram visitors im going to send to it. Youre not trying to rank your wix prelander right? Youre just trying to make it look good for the instagram visitors youre sending to it, right? The same thing for the tweet im talking about here. Its just a prelander, twitter can suck it

Im just brainstorming, trying to get to the bottom of this and figure out something worth trying. Thanks for answering, it gives me food for thought, which allows me to continue thinking about this.

Yeah, i've been making 1 video per day lately, me talking in the video (no body/face, just voice). I could just talk over a nice background or something. And if i dont know anything about what im promoting, i can get some related online article and "recite" a piece of it. Though make it in a conversational tone to make it seem like i know what im talking about. Seeing as i can prepare for it i should be able to pull it off.

Could also make a short video with screenshots and text spinning. But i believe a human talking video would convert better.

OK, crystall clear now! In this way could work I mean and, maybe, you can get both: traffic from IG and, why not, spontaneous traffic from TW...double KO!
...even if I'm quite sure the less the people have to "jump" the best is in terms of redemption and converstion.

In your scenario:
People: IG follow-back/IG post --> IG BIO --> click link --> Twitter post --> click link --> Lander page --> Order Modul

That's why, if you can afford it, CLOAK sounds better --> you can "cut" 2 passages in your scenario and 1 passage in "usual pre-lander" scenario

A whiteboard animation video would be much better and help increase conversion. You can download the cracked version of the solfware to do it free (videoscribe)

And i agree 100% that the less hoops people have to jump through the more likely they are to buy. But my problem is i dont want churn and burn and i dont want breaking the rules.

Instagram says no affiliate links. You cloak it, therefore you tell instagram to go fuck themselves. One day they catch you, they tell you to go fuck yourself. Ban account, block account, sandbox account, ban clocked domain.

If im promoting a tweet, instagram shouldnt have a problem with it. And twitter wont have a problem with the affiliate link either. So i figure, yohr instagram is as safe as we can make it, your twitter is safe, and we have a nice little exciting and familiar funnel going on.

I mention familiar because, lets face it, a twitter prelander is much more familiar to people than your or my website blogger whatever. People like familiar, comfort zones

Well. I don't think a cloaker is necessary with Twitter option because the Twitter link itself is already authentic to IG. It also act as landing page and help conversion as well because op said he will be sending fake reviews and followers to that Twiitter profile. With cloak you may fool IG bot and link directly to ClickBank landing page but it's like cold traffic and it won't convert well.

Yeah its not. And i guess you would be "warming up" the traffic doing it how i explained.

Look, if i knew that cloaking carries no danger id do it. I mean, id rather not have people jump through hoops. But cloaking youre doing something instagram doesnt want you to do. And its SO obvious.

But i want to do it Safely. I dont want to lose domains, i dont sant to lose instagram accounts or twitter accounts. And i think i figured out a good and painless way of doing just that.
