Hello everyone.

I see that people sell shoutouts in public.

I know that Facebook punish pages that sell shoutouts and they are very tough about this.

Since Facebook bought Instagram, don't you guys afraid of losing your page?

I am really afraid to sell shoutouts because of this. Maybe someone will report and I will lose my account.

Someone here knows Instagram policy about shoutouts?

Since when facebook punish pages that sell shoutouts? I've seen a lot of millions-likes page that sell shoutouts and didn't get banned even after few years.

You can't get banned for selling shoutouts, last time I checked the ToS (very recently) it wasn't against the rules. However, you are not allowed to sell your account.

How would they even know that someone paid for you to promote someone elses page? Sounds ridiculous tbh

Some artists post on their page state that they promoting shoutout/review.

I doubt you will have any problem with this, you can get in trouble for a lot of other things but shoutouts should be the least of your concern

This wont ever happen as it's too hard to distinguish between "giving credit" and a shoutout.
