Hey guys,

Welcome to my journey. I'm starting this thread to track my own progress as well as share some tips I've picked up along the way. A little about me, I've been doing IM for 4 years now just as a hobby and as a way to earn some spending money. Some of my previous successful methods I've found have been CPA + YouTube, selling info products, affiliate blog + reddit traffic, and most recently Shopify + Instagram.

However, the niche that I started in was super competitive, but was something I just wanted to try for fun (clothing/streetwear/sneakers). Now, I am starting 2 new accounts and will try and monetize them after they reach a nice following. It is my belief you do not need a massive following to earn money on Instagram. My previous account had only ~2,000 followers and I was making about $1,000 in revenue per month.

Current stats:
Account 1: Started on November 16th, 425 followers + average 100 likes a photo
Account 2: on September 20th, 2020 followers + average 375 likes a photo

Each account I post once a day, at around 11am EST.

Bot settings:
Follow/Unfollow: 500 a day
Likes: 500 a day (like latest picture of people I follow)
I never go over 1,000 following. I think it makes accounts look spammy.

Currently gaining around 100+ followers a day with these settings

Monetizing Plan:
Right now I do not want to get caught up in the holiday buying craze, I want consistent, stable revenue. I also want to grow each account a bit more before I start monetizing. I will probably not start monetizing until early-mid January.

So that's my journey. Feel free to ask any questions, I'll try and post updates as frequently as possible.

How many sales did you get from 2000 followers ?

hi, i hope you suceed in your journey mate, im currently building 65 account for shopify in the near future, maybe we can have a chat at skype ?

@TechEinstien

Thanks :D I think a lot of people overestimate how many followers you need. All you need is a niche with a dedicated following.

@Benjibenji1

Tried quoting replies but it kept getting blocked by the spam filter for some reason o.o

Also been looking into powerlike services, haven't found any yet that seem very appealing. Hopefully will start selling on my 2 new accounts in December as planned.

Interesting journey.. hopefully will be doing something similar soon..following you :)

Thanks bro, feel free to ask any questions. Happy to help.

Are the images you post made by yourself when you were growing the account or did you copy them from popular instagram pages? Also which people are you following on the accounts to get the best follow/sales ratio?

I have people submit content using my pages hashtags. Every day before posting I'll go thru the hashtags and find the best pictures to post.

Not sure what you mean for the second part, it requires some experimentation to find the best accounts to steal followers from

Hi, can you let me know in your opinion if the best market to target for Shopify is the US market or other markets? Which markets are u targeting?

I only target US just because I live in the US, so it is easier for shipping costs.

This is EXACTLY what I'm looking to do in the near future. Thank you for sharing, I look forward to learning from your success :)
