I would like to discuss what settings to use on Instagram to get as much exposure as possible without getting suspended. This is due to after trial and error on 500+ accounts they are still getting banned every day. Some accounts seem to last forever on fairly aggressive settings while others gets banned after only 1 day on fairly slow settings.

7 accs alive for 3+ weeks
  • Created with FB
  • 3 accs per IP, cheapest proxies from Actproxy
  • Started following from day 1
  • 40 follows per hour
  • 550 follows per day
  • 1 min delay between each follow
  • All accounts use different URLs BUT they all redirect to the exact same destination

5 accs alive for 2 days then banned
  • Bought accounts, claimed to be 2+ years aged
  • 3 accs per IP, semi dedicated from Buyproxies ($1 per proxy)
  • Name change
  • 50 follows per hour
  • 900 follows per day
  • 1 min delay between follow
  • All accounts use different URLs, points to different destinations. All destinations on one host but in different folders

10 accs alive for 1 day then banned
  • Created 50/50 with FB/IG website
  • 3 accs per IP, semi dedicated from Buyproxies
  • 20 follows per hour
  • 300 follows per day
  • 1 min delay between follow
  • All accounts use different URLs, points to different destinations. All destinations on one host but in different folders

This is just a small fraction of the accounts that have been banned. Hundreds of other accs have been banned but I don't remember their settings. I find a few accounts here and there that stays alive and they are often having broken links, so my theory here is that IG is banning the accounts because they are all linking to the same server. But then again I find that unlikely as all other users who shares my hosting server would also get banned...

great , thanks for the head up :)

Could it be the IG crawlers that are detecting the same locker URL on all my websites? I really can't think of anything else at this point.

So you have tested 500+ accounts, but it never occurred to you to test this? :)

thread bookmarked. Looking forward for more comparison like this. :)
Thanks op

Kind of yeah. I have never heard anyone mentioning the IG crawlers and I have gotten the expression that many people bot thousands of account safely by just keeping their IG accounts to max 3 IPs and 3 URLs. I believe you can use same IP for many accounts as long as they are promoting different URLs. I haven't tried that though as I'm struggling to have my accounts alive for more than a day.

In the beginning of my "IG journey" when I only managed around 10-20 accounts everything was just fine. No problems at all, 80% of accounts were kept alive for weeks. But now as I am scaling with XX+ accs a day I run into bans, bans and bans.

..... get banned...

Normally I wouldn't add a link to a profile for a month after its made. I so far had about 5 accounts banned while following/unfollowing/liking/ unlikeing and it all has to do with a redirect in the link. and 1 min before each follow? was there any randomness involved or was it 1 min every time? I usualy randomize between 45 to 90 (my actuall random values may be bigger or smaller but you get the gist) I also unfollow nonfollowers after 3 days

The first "batch" of accs (7 accs alive for 3+ weeks) started following from day 1 and the URL was also added this day. They are all still alive. Yes there is randomness between the follows, around 44-67 seconds. As you can see I have 2+ year old accs which only lasted for 2 days so the problem is not that I add the URL too early.

Worth mentioning is that the 7 accs alive for 3+ weeks is on the same server as all other websites but in its own niche so their landing pages are completely different.

start slower and increase week by week ... maybe that helps. i have accosts with your setting which have no problem. but i start slowly. i don't like and dm and comment ... only follow unfollow and posting there.

I don't comment, unfollow or DM. I don't even get to unfollow before I'm banned. 50 followings per hour and 900 per day for a 2 year aged acc is slow as syrup. I still think it's the IG crawlers that is the issue.

Hey, few tips I learned here and I battle tested:
You got to replicate a normal user behavior.
Put randomness everywhere: in the number of actions, in the timing, number of posts...
Also, you got to start very slow, to warm up the accounts. My accounts reach the Max settings only when They're 3months old , and I start at around 50-60 follow a day.
Don't add a link until you got 1000followers, and I would even wait for more.

If you're doing this for the long run, it's better to keep safe accounts than being busy changing acc and proxy everyday because you flew too close from the sun.

Hope it helped, good luck!

I have come to a conclusion that once I start scaling up that's when the bans start. Having 10-20 accounts is no problem, they don't get banned. So with that said the only way IG can link all my sites together is by crawling them and detecting the link to the locker. I could solve this by redirecting the crawlers to a legit page on my website with .htaccess, or I could cloak every "bad" link on my site.

You guys who are doing this in big scale (500+) accs should know exactly what I'm talking about. I would really appreciate if you would reply to this thread, or PM me if you want to keep it private.
