Has anyone noticed their instagram reach and engagement down past the new update or past the instagram worldwide outage?

Its the same, and even up compared to before, I dont think it has anything to do with the update.

Even slight changes in content, post timings etc can lead to reach changes, its not always the update which can be blamed.

The reach is slowed down for me... Actually the ratio followers views and non-followers views is worst. I have 80% of Followers Views. Before i had maybe 1% to 20% Followers Views. So i don't know why it's not working. I think we have to try new type of contents.

I have heard the same thing from a lot of people lately. One of my clients non-follower reach has gone down dramatically too. It used to be at 60% non followers, now it settles at around 15-20%.

This is all in response to them making those big changes to the algorithm... that is supposedly supposed to give "everyone" a fair share at reaching non followers.. while at the same time, determining which accounts are the original posters of content and giving them the push, as opposed to the accounts that are aggregating content.

I'm not that confident in their technology to be able to handle all this properly. They've shown a really bad track record for false flagging content and comments, and penalizing peoples accounts despite their technology getting it wrong.

Thanks for your reply ;)

So do you think that if i have 1 main IG account and multiple slaves accounts it can get the reach of my main account down ?

If you're up to, let's chat on telegram ;) We do OF btw

The number of child accounts will not affect negative the main account unless you get them all linked

I'm sorry, I'm slow with this. Do you mean if the child accts are all linked to each other?

Mate, might just need to give it some time to settle, you know? Keep posting your usual stuff and see if things pick up again soon.

Yes, mother child strategy still works. You have to be a bit more strategic about your approach, and put more effort into warming your accounts up properly to avoid them being flagged as spammed accounts, but yes, it's still possible.
