My following count on Instagram shows up as 727 while I am actually following 112 accounts. (I used webstagram to check) Even though the April update was supposed to fix this issue my account hasn't been helped. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I am aware that these extra accounts are accounts that have been deleted/suspended.

If you try to use on PC!!! (never use mobile apps for this!!!) an unfollwer site, there you monitor your follower, unfollower, who you're following who's not following you etc. try that, if there it says 112, it's what you have, I know it's hard to contact IG, so you have to live with it, and I don't think, that 600 people unfollowed you at once, it must be some bug, nothing is perfect
The thing is, even websites on the PC show that I'm following 727 people, and when i check who i'm following they come in batches of 4 or 2 per page (which is weird because a full page shows around 12 people)
My app is up to date yet it still shows that I'm following more people than i really am.

Its known bug in Instagram, usually on iOS. What you can do is visit your timeline to check the users posting visit their profile and unfollow them
Username is Steven.Sy (I followed 3 more people so following count shows 730 when it should be around 115)
The thing is everyone that's posting on my timeline are people i want to follow. the other 600 are people that have deleted their account or got suspended (Therefore they won't post anything and I can't unfollow them)
