So I've been using an Instagram bot for a few weeks now and since then I've had my "likes" disabled for 24 hrs twice and received an email about Instagram detecting "suspicious activity" and they reset my password. Does anybody know if these minor penalties continue then Instagram will eventually ban your account? Like after a few of these occurrences then the next one becomes the final strike and then they ban you? I've just been more cautious after getting these penalties.

How many accounts are you running at once and what are your bot settings.

Just 1 account. My proxies will do 10-15 likes per task executed so I set it to 5 minute delay, 10 seconds in between. But I just want to know if you get a certain amount of strikes before getting banned.

I have an account from back when instagram had no follow limit idk like 3 years ago, am following 70K people. Anyway that account got a password reset once and now has been running 20 sec delay for 5 days non stop

With which bot? I also had to reset my password like 4 times now

Most of my accounts have been reaching the limit of likes if I like around 500-600 pics in under 2 hours...

I've been setting delays of around 5-10minutes now after liking around 100 pictures.

I'd imagine if you keep doing it and get multiple strikes over and over again they could possibly ban the account, a lot of other social networks do this. I'd imagine they'd email you though before they terminate your account.

Instagram has banned lots of my accounts. I try to stay away from there now

So what just not use bots? That is difficult for most of us

Yes thats quite possible that your account gets banned

I use a very inexpensive bot and my setting are 45-55 second delay. I have only been banned once and that's because I liked 18000 pics in 2 days lol.

Since the algorithm change I have adjusted my settings and have been yielding great results ever since.

Anyone who needs help, im always here so feel free to ask.

I got that "suspicous activity" email already 6 times on my 3months old account, not banned yet :D

24/7 ? That doesn't look really "human" if an account is liking 5 days every 20 seconds, just saying...

Use proxies and make accounts look normal when liking, and try to stay away from following or keep it within the limits.

Instagram has made me reset my password at least 5 times so far on two different accounts I have a bot running on. I'm pretty confident they just feel the bot is trying to hack so so your password needs reset.

What bot are you running? And do how many accounts do you run per proxy
