Anyone else noticed that the view count is now being taken out? I know they were doing it in other countries but now I have seen it on several accounts starting today. A few of mine are like so. Even fresh ones.

Anyone in the US seeing views and likes blocked from public on their own or other accounts? I wonder how this will impact engagement rates. I don't like it. Its takes another click now to view my own photos likes.

They may be rolling it out slowly, then just doing it suddenly for everybody in 2020...

I'd expect large drops in engagement & daily users.
I've never heard an American compliment this idea, which is probably why it hasn't happened there yet. The only people who care are those who can't grow their accounts.

I believe there will be a sudden shift to twitter, YouTube, Tik Tok, Pinterest, etc.

I hope Facebook doesn't do it. It makes no sense. Likes are at the heart of social media.

It's only for mobile right now as it seems, the like count shows up on desktop browser.

I think its just random on how they pick the accounts I see small accounts and big accounts with likes removed.

It also gives you a figure of the amount of likes, the post in the feed says "Thousands of others" but its actually only 1k
