Instagram not accepting prepaid SIMS for PVing anymore?

I just tried 27 different prepaid cards to verify multiple accounts, none worked.
The only number that worked was one from a different carrier and which has a mobile plan on it (non- prepaid).

Seems like Instagram is taking a strange direction if this is true, I won't be surprised when they finally piss of enough users and take a serious hit.

The carrier on the 27 SIMS I tried is a reputable carrier btw, no shady off brand carrier.

Bump, this is still happening!!!

I ordered 5 prepaid sims which I received today to test it and I didn't even receive the code when I put in my phone number.

Thought it was just me, I've been trying Igerslike #s for a week now, none have worked.
