hi

last few weeks Instagram was asking us to verify the ownership of the account using 2 options , mobile phone or latest email in the account

now they ask you to verify the account only using the original email
my account is from 2013 , email from 2000 , have no access to email

what can i do , anyone got same message , i know many get it

It should be easy to get back access to your email if you know it, (it would be on your Instagram profile setting page) just use the forgot password option.

Or is it an email provider that has gone extinct ?

You can know about emails you have previously used in your account from the setting.

the account have 65k followers
i know the email name , but not the password , its old email from 2000 , hotmail account

btw you cant access the account , you will face the verification message as soon as you try to login

Hey this happened to me but it just a bug, it goes back to normal in 24 hours and your up to date phone number gets shown as well as the og email when you log in for verification.

If your account have this much followers, why not you active it with your phone number. Btw just wait few days it will solve auto. Many people face this bug
