what do you mean they don't work anymore? in what way? notifications are still being received if someone mentions you.

Mentions do work, but now there are many ghost comments. So if you order 1,000... you'll probably see like 75% of the comments.

He's probably referring to that since the patch, most providers are no longer offering the service since they can't do bulk mentions from verified accounts. Unless you're bypassing the rate limit, the only other option is doing it from multiple accounts and just isn't worth it.
Its not even possible with rotating accounts anymore. Instagram realize bulk mentions under a post and won't notify the people who were mentioned

Not surprising, it was only a matter of time. Too many people were abusing it while it was good. I cant lie, it was good while it lasted. What about just multi tagging in pictures?
