Instagram marketing for local business

Hi,

Looking for some suggestions on Instagram marketing for one local business (nightlife related and target crowd is of age 17 to 35). How to generate more engagement, followers? Is there any tutorial that can help ? I am also up for paid promotions in Instagram but before doing so I need some experts suggestions.

Please suggest friends.

find good content that is related and put hashtags that locals might be searching.
if you want you can manually comment on photos of people at other nigght clubs inviting them to your place
you can make a promotion saying free drinks or whatever to people who tag their friends and share the photo ..

Search locations, hashtags, etc. Interact with your target audience. Comment on their posts - find the people in your city that go out and target them. Talk to them, talk to their friends, comment on their stuff. Be genuine and interact, not just advertising.

Find the local influencers in your area that have a good following or seem to, and invite them into your club with some free incentives if they bring their friends.

Finding 'ambassadors' for your club would likely help - give them freebies for bringing their friends. I had a friend that did this for Chipotle about 10 years ago, and he constantly got people to go there. His food was always free, and he usually brought 3-4 people with him and a lot of times new people. He was a social guy, always hanging out with new crowds.
