Has anyone else experienced this yet?

Whenever someone clicks the link in my bio, a pop-up appears warning users of potential scams - basically scaring people away.

What I'm promoting is a free ebook on my website, not a scam.

This has tanked my conversions by 90% +

And according to a few 'growth experts' - meta have confirmed this is a new update and could be rolling out on most accounts soon where an outbound link is clicked.

Have you tried cloaking/using a different link?
Yeah any link I use including the likes of linktree comes up with the warning. So it seems like it's a blanket warning over my whole account no matter what I do.

It's a shame because I'd just got to 40k followers with a few hundred clicks daily.

Same thing happened to me, I hope that someone has a solution...

This appears on accounts that have been flagged as potential spam/suspicious.

Edit - just checked my links, none of them have that message. May need to slow things down and/or clean up your marketing strategy.

My account is legit, new but it already has 2 viral reels... Do you mean someone flagged my account or instagram bot flagged it?! Is there a solution?

But now when you visit any link from IG they popup a page to confirm if you want to go to that external link or not, even this has made the conversions worse overall.

It happens to me too. I would like to solve this problem.
Is there anyone who knows a way?

I wrote to instagram support email and I also report a problem with the shaking your phone method. No answer for 6 days... Did anyone found a solution?

Has anyone found a solution for this?

I talked with Meta Support (I was paying for the blue check mark), rally useless, they didn't give me a solution. Everyone who tries to follow me receive a warning to confirm if they really wanna follow me and all my links in bio or DMs are with the scam warning as well.

try clocking your link,
and it can happen when people report your link.

This is happening with certain link providers. Make sure that you are not using Direct-Links. If you use direct-link, Instagram can detect that and you can get your profile flagged. That being said, let the account rest for 1 week and use a link service that has a landing page, that should be fine.

Yes, I've seen this happen. You can try using a Linktree or Beacons as an intermediary instead of a direct link, as they're often whitelisted.

first rule is when you are small company then dont use your official link to promote your product. use clocking links.
and reason behind your scam link is some of your customer have reported it. or maybe your compatitor.
if your product is legal and whitehat in ig eyes then contact them email with screenshot. they will help you. we have done it. it ll take some time but it ll be done for whitehat product,

Take them to link tree or another type place, where you homepage is featured, and or link to ebook.
