The number of people you can follow or the number of picture you can like every hour/day depends on how old the account is!
If it's new I would suggest you to start slow and let it age for a while and once it's old enough, you can keep increasing the numbers gradually to make everything look legit. For the start, you can follow 40-60 users every day just to be on the safe side. And then once the account starts growing, keep increasing the numbers every once in a while.

Make sure to never follow and unfollow on the same day. Start low and increase slowly. I have received a 48h follow ban before, so be careful.

I would say the longer you wait the better is between for follow and unfollow, like take your time to unfollow but if you know you loose the traffic or you see it drops go back to following but if you're not dropping I would say, the longer you can wait, the better.

Low limits include playing it safe to ensure longevity. So for the amount 75-250 Follows and 45-120 Unfollows a day would be ideal.
After the mass ban wave there seems to be struggle commenting & liking so play it safe while holding true value over the long run.

ive found this to be true as well with my experiences... users tend to unfollow just as quick as you do in some cases
Why would you even bother if you only follow 100 people a day? There is absolutely no trouble in following 1,000 people a day on a month old account.
