Posting Up this Thread because there is a few others out there and I'm getting lost in them all. (who has this bot or that bot nonsense.) Let's all work on to figure out what the new limit is and what seems to be working best for people that are using bots. I would hate to hear someone with a huge account and followers gets a permeant ban.

What we know so far....

Likes.
There is a 24hr ban on liking too many pictures.
When you go and like a picture on your feed with will appear that it's liked the un-like it's self. causing a 1-24hr ban.
Still trying to figure out.

Comments.
Still trying to figure that out.

Follows.
Still trying to figure that out.

I will update this area as much as possible when we have the finial word that Comments/likes/follow numbers seem to be safely working.

I hope we can clear some things up for everyone without having to check 100 different Threads.

I read this a while ago:

Instagram Security Update Against Botters Will Affect Innocent Users

Past this week Instagram made a silent update on their security system wich is causing some users to get their profile's follow button disabled.

Apparently there's a new limit for following, you can't be followed by more than X people per day, wich may cause problems for new profiles (or even older ones), e.g.: you're pseudo famous and is starting a new account on Instagram, if more than 800 people follow you on the first day your profile will get button blocked and no one will ever be able to follow you again.

Or, a more realistic example, you're not even famous, you just got a lot of friends. New profile? A lot of people following you? Blocked.

Many are thinking: "so you can just mass follow somebody you dont like, and get their button disabled?". Yes.

This is a thoughtlessly measure by the maintainers of the concerned social network, and if you stop for a second to remember who are the maintainers you should imagine better moves to stop bad guys messing up with it, right, Zuck?

TL;DR:
It seems that if a brand new "client" accounts receives over 800 followers within 24 hours of creation, then he gets "button blocked".

So... I'm new in the forum... and I'm brazilian so sorry if i wrote something wrong

In the past week all my accounts stop likes pictures... so, i turned off my bots and waited. today i did a test, i started the bot with a old account and i let it run, and my likes start to not work when the numbers of picture's likeds got 1200 likes.... and than my likes stoped. and i didn't pass 350 likes per hour.

Been banned at 120 likes an hour, 40 likes with 20 minute breaks. Going to try 80/hour when I am reinstated.

Seems a little odd that Instagram would do such a dumb move. Then again it makes sense towards the bottom of the read.

woaw is this for real? sounds scary in my opinion.

Anyway yesterday I got blocked for a few minutes after liking 150pictures manually during one hour.

50 sec delay working fine 24/7, but damn that's slow. Commenting also ok at around 60 sec delay.

50 sec delay too slow for you? try 75 sec delay LOL! i got banned for 24 hours for doing a 60 second delay a few days ago and figured i'd rather be safe than aggravated. so far no problems. and as for commenting, i was also doing a 75 sec delay and just got banned from that after less than a day of commenting.

finally able to comment again, going to try a 90 sec delay. i probably won't leave it on all night tho... was doing good with liking with a 75 sec delay but i'm going to be a little daring and try 70 sec delay now.

I think some of you are confusing readers when you say "banned". It took me about 2 times to reread this thread to understand what some of you meant by "banned" and actually getting "blocked".

In this case, I haven't gotten banned from Instagram, but I do get blocked for liking pictures with a 10 second delay. It's usually a 24 hour block I believe before my likes stop getting ghosted

There is a cookie you can delete to circumvent the block

I read this a while ago:

I hope that's not true. This wouldn't have an effect on accounts that are a month or two old would it? +Rep to anyone that can verify this.
