Instagram journey...what did I do wrong

So I made an Instagram account today and manually started following people I follow 178 in 7 hours and got 58 followbacks and thought I was on a role until instagram blocked me from following anymore temporarily. The only reason I can guess this happened is cause I had too many follows denied by private accounts. I don't want to give up on instagram just yet do any of you all know what I did wrong. I didn't follow any sooner then 10 minute intervals and I only followed 10 people every ten minutes. Or Ifor I got sidetracked and forgot to follow in 10 minutes I'd make it like 13 to 15 in 20 minutes. But never more then 50 an hour. Help me out guys.

I have never done anything on Instagram but doing a twitter journey right now. I also did a youtube clickbank journey that is performing really bad. From all this experience I can tell you one thing that I understood early in the process and that is that only working on one account or selling one type of product is really risky because when you get your account banned or discover that the product isn't selling you lose motivation to continue.
You need several of things like:
proxies
accounts
email accounts
content
etc.

When you have that you will see which of these will work and which will not. You also learn the ban trigger when you notice a couple of account gone because you tested to follow x number of people in n hours. You learn the limit this way.
Try it again and try variations of the techniques.

How old is the account? It could be that your account is young. Anyway it's all about trial and error. The road at the start will be very bumpy and hard but you just have to persevere and look at the bigger picture. Don't give up...Ever, if you want to be successful in life.

I am doing just fine, got 1,300 followers in 5 days. I have a great no competition niche, 66% return back. I just need to get shoutouts, and can get it to 10k in less than 2 weeks lol.

Temporary bans happens all the time. Wait 5 mins and try again or optimize the intervals so that they never hit that temp. ban. I don't really care and just let the bot sit until 5 mins have passed, then it will continue by itself.

Is your account a phone verified account (pva)?

I woke up at 2 am and my friend texted me and asked me what happened to my account. They deleted it. It was just one day old. I created it then started following people right away. Which I think was my problem. Yeahe it was pva. That answers everyone's questions.

I also started new account on IG... 6 days old account and already have 3k+ followers using no bots.

Post in the Instagram section, not the journey. A ton of people bot on their accounts. You should go look at their threads.
