Instagram had issues for quite some time yesterday. In certain areas it was fixed sooner than others.

Well the issue was fixed several hours ago already. Did you try using IG now?

Likely it could be an issue with your IP in that case. What type of proxy are you using and from whom?

Might be your place is still affected with IG downtime. It got fixed for me like 7-8 hours ago.
If it makes you feel better, having the same issue. Started at 2000-2100 last night GMT+1. Seen a lot of reports saying the same on DownDetector. I had around 700 actions the previous day at around 2300. And just as I started following, I noticed something's up. Not even 30 actions in. It's also been completely down a few times today, globally even... I wouldnt worry much.
