Instagram hasn't let me post a comment in over 2 days?

Has anyone experienced this? What would be the reason for this? I commented 10 pictures one day and I haven't been able to post a comment since. Does this usually wear off or is it some sort of glitch?

Have you checked internet connection of your smartphone? Or maybe Instagram's server was down while you posted a comment.

you might need to make a new account, check the email you used for your account and see if you've received any messages.

Yes for sure, it's definitely not internet related since my likes register.

If you have a bot or have something like Fiddler set up, you should be able to review the requests. You might have a response saying something like "You seem to have been misusing this feature.... blah blah, banned for 24 hours" or something along the lines of that.

Change up your comments. I get them on my cousin's account sometimes (She's a personal trainer trying to get clients)

If your using a comment bot, make sure that the bot has spintax support, and don't ever!! comment the same comment over and over, because that will get you blocked from comments for up to a week or permanently for spamming. If you fall short on creativity when it comes to very general comment writing, or have just ran out of good material, then you should consider hiring a member here called iPresenceBiz, he has done some great work for me in the past for YouTube comments and specializes in things like this.
