Instagram has made API changes

As of April 4, 2018 Instagram has depreciated a few of their API endpoints and released a timeline for new API changes later this year.

This may play into why alot of you are receiving so many blocks (and even bans) this week. This is also why alot of tools have suddenly stopped working (SocialRank, etc.)

In this link https://techcrunch.com/2018/04/02/instagram-api-limit/ it states that they reduced API limit per user from 5,000/hr to 200/hr. It looks like they are cracking down heavy like/follow actions as well, and this ratio could be a clue as to what new settings we'll need to use moving forward.

I know people are having success with Residential IPs and warming up accounts before hand.

Any one have any observations they've made or suggestions for maintaining growth?

I use Jarvee. But dont think just using Jarvee is THE solution for blocks. It's not bot related, it's proxy/account/settings related.

But Jarvee isnt using the IG api, so the article doesnt aply to Jarvee.

are you sure about this? isnt there even a checkbox called something like "use only api"

There is an option in there that allows you to ‘only use API’ to save bandwith, so that might become defunct. But other than that, afaik it probably uses browsers to perform the majority of actions. So should be good.

Hello,

I am running only 10 accounts and I would like your help. Jarvee won't even work on my home laptop anymore without the use of proxies...

I am getting verification loops from my own home. I am confused, I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm willing to pay if the solution works because I want to manage more accounts. Thank you

with 10 accounts on 1 ip, it's normal to get loops, blocks or bans

You can read so many beginners stuff here, i will advice to start there. And never go above 3 accounts on 1 ip. I do 1 on 1.

That's not what I meant. I use 1 IP per proxy, I have been trying to figure out my way around this email confirmation loop I keep getting.
I could use Jarvee on my home computer without a proxy , login, then add the proxy and I could be connected.
I used a VPS and it wouldn't let me login due to the new IP (not residential?) or the IP it didn't recognize either.

Today I can't even log in 1 IP from my own home. I've never used more than 1 IP per account.

I've spent 2-3 weeks trying to figure out my sleeping schdule has been me scavenging BHW until 8 am.. I'd appreciate it if we could somehow talk one on one.. I am willing to pay for a solution.

What proxy supplier you have? Email loops are 95% a proxy issue in my experience.

Oh okay I thought you didn’t want to give any public answers.

My only question is: upon adding a new account, it’s reauired to have an email/text verification.

Is it safe for me to quickly switch the email to my gmail and switch back? All the verification codes will come to the same email for different accounts.

If not do you have another method?

That will be a hughe footprint for IG. Dont do that. Just make some email accounts and forward them all to 1 email. Or buy some IG's with emails. They are so cheap.

Do you have a way where you consistently do not need the email verification ? There’s ways around it apparently, but it’s be much easier if I could just avoid the whole situation..
