Instagram Ghost/Inactive Followers - IGExorcist

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to clean up my 50K account of Ghost Followers.

What do you use? I've seen IGexorcist.com but would like if you have test it before doing nothing.

I really believe having Ghost/Inactive followers punish your account more than helping... Since it's about engagement not numbers of followers isn't?

So, how does this work? Can you force people to unfollow you on Instagram?
 
IGExorcist does work and is legit. It blocks ghost followers and unblocks them making them unfollow you and leaving a chance to follow you again. Since, Instagram has limited the number of blocks per hour to 20, it might take a while to clean up all the ghosts. Good luck!
 
Why would you want to clear out your inactive followers (assuming they are real)? If you have good follower activity already..don't they help boost your follower number to give more relevance?

Sorry I forgot to answer you in PM: I use the app called My Followers you have to pay to be able to block the ghost followers but its worth it!

I tried, but in my case, after running the queue, said I have 45K ghosts,... my acc is 47K.. Is impossible...

Maybe I'm ding something wrong lol
 
Igexorcist says it can only do 10 blocks per hour (sooo slow) and it can only gather ALL like data for pictures under 120 likes. I think that is why all of our ghost follower totals are so high on this program and other 3rd party programs as well. Anyone use Igexorcist and it helped them get engagement back?
 
I can't speak to the validity of IG exorcist, but you can fake activity like you can fake followers. Comments are harder than likes, but likes are nothing
 
You can use Instagram API directly if there arent any other services. Using one that is already existing is the cheapest way though. But since it shows you 45k inactive, I dont know if you want to use that.

This is how you do it.
Pull up your follower list.
Get details of each follower. Their picture count, follower count, follower:following rations, or whatever instagram provides you with. Then you can filter useself to get a list of people you want to unfollow.
You can then use their api itself, or may be imacros, or any tool to block them and unblock them.

I have done something similar for twitter. I mean a client wanted to pull up active follower list out of his followers. Similar approach worked for twitter.(Didnt do the block/unblock thing though.)
 
OP, How many posts do you have on your account?
DO NOT USE IgExcorcist if don't have atleast 100 posts and your account is less 30 weeks old. You'll end up removing your active followers too.

i got 640 post, unique content, 1.5 year old account, thanks for advice ;-)

How you fake activity? Using fake acc of your own liking your main I Guess no?
Prob I just work with on Acc... :_(
 
I'll recomment InstagramAPI if you're familiar with python. Just write script to block users
