Instagram ghost followers - low engagement

Hello. So I have 5k followers on IG but like 2k are fake and I left this acc inactive for a long time. Now that I'm back posting, I get like 300-400 reach and 100-200 likes.

If I start to post like 3 times per week and uploading stories almost every day, are the ghost followers still going to kill my engagement?

Ghost followers still here, will still be ghosts. = your engagement will still stay as low as it is, except if you remove them.

However, the wiser decision might be to start growing your account ; it's only 2k ghost followers that might go away themselves by IG purges (as they are fake). Or, just unfollow them. In a matter of 15days-1month, they are gone this way

I'm looking for a way to get rid of Ghost followers in quick time in case 5K+ Ghost followers. Any bot or something which can get rid of them quickly?

hey
you can use jarvee (do some research about it), or just do it manually (manually is always the best option) . there is no quick way to this, you need to be careful how much accounts you unfollowe per day, you can get a limitation on your account.

but it would lot of time in case of thousands of Ghost followers. Say around 5k+ to unfollow.
Will it get banned or restricted if we unfollow more per day.
What is the limit to unfollow per day?
Is it risky to do it through bot?

Constantly posting will definitely improve your engagement and if you keep getting new active followers, those shouldn't do much harm.
But if you keep struggling to grow and don't get any new followers then they might hurt your reach and enagement.

There's no point in removing them,Why?

When you start Gaining New and Real Followers,Will all of them Engage with your Photos? Never so no matter what you do,At every stage you will be having Ghost Followers and every Instagram Account has it.

There's nothing much you can do about it so it is better to focus on gaining new followers,engaging with them in return of getting engagement back.

Fake followers are social proof. Maybe you shouldn't remove them and just focus on getting real ones.
