Instagram following blocked

I bot a friends account and recently his account got blocked from following anyone, its been about a day already and its still blocked from following, he didn't get any email from IG or such, anyone know whats up?

I've had my password reset before for non-human activity but not this soft block.

Instagram is fighting spam! In my home I alway find "Some of your contact has been deleted for spam". This means they're blocking bulk actions when you receive Followers/Likes too. So, slow things down and do less bulk boosts
