Instagram follower per dollar with ads??

I know that this will vary greatly but if I’m putting out decent original content how much would I need to spend in ads in order to reach around 10,000 followers?

If you focus your target to the right places (with low competitions and cheap currency) i think you can get to 10k with 500€
 
Doing ads for getting followers is absolutely possible. But the only downside that it has is that targeting 1st world countries is very very expensive. You can end paying $1 per follower, or even $2/3. So, you need to target worldwide and wait for the results although the vast majority will end being from India and Pakistan etc.
 
When you advertise your Instagram account, you get more likes on the post rather than followers. You need to mention it to the users, that they should follow your Instagram account.
 
It has to be the capacity of the audience that you are targeting. If you are targeting less audience your CPC would be very high. If you are targeting large amount of audience your CPC would be very low like 0.005 if you got right.
 
I generally get 10-20 followers per 1 USD using the in app promote button vs. a worldwide x my niche audience.
