Hi all!

I own an OF management agency and we recently started expanding our ways of generating traffic for our models. I wanted to set up a manual F/U, Mother/Child farm because we have the work force to do it manually (we got lots of iPhones) and it doesn't cost us a lot of money.

Back in July we were doing F/U for other models and for some other business and everything worked great. In February of this year we wanted to do it again but things just don't work out. After about 100 followers in total on the account we get an and error that says "Try Again Later" (see attached image).

So far we tested more than 50 accounts. We tested aged accounts, aged accounts with followers, aged accounts made wit US ip, accounts secured with 2FA, brand new accounts created with phone number, created with emails, icloud, icloud and phone number, created on different devices, IOS/Android,Desktop, aged accounts from different sellers, you name it.

Strategy:
We are doing 24 photos per account, uploaded all at once or 4 or 5 day(tests indicated it doesn't matter) metadata delete, renamed, MD5 modified. nothing nude.
We are doing normal actions like story viewing, reels viewing, likes, explore page daily
We are doing 10 follows the first day followed by 20 the second day, 30 the third day and so on, but max 10 follows/hour and max 20follows/hour if the account gets past 2 weeks
We are only looking for quality girls on Instagram that have USA UK AU audience, the accounts we are following are not bots guaranteed
We tested with and without linktr.ee in bio and we tested no bio at all too, no difference

Setup:
We are using iPhones and Motorola Android phones and our tests indicate that it doesn't matter which one we use
We are doing 1 account / phone
We are using 4G sims cards on each phone
We tested 4G mobile proxies as well(same error)

We noticed that if we do follow people in our country (where the sims cards are located) most of the accounts are working, but there is a second aspect to this, the follow back rate is much much higher (even if the model doesn't really looks like she belongs in that country) but if we target USA, UK, AU the follow back rate is much much lower.

Now the questions are:
Is this error because we are following people in other countries and our IP is not related at all to those countries?(keep in mind we tested proxies too)
Is it because we have such a low follow back rate and somehow instagram flags our account as spam?
Are we doing too many actions in the first days?
Should we buy aged accounts with activity from someone here on the forum? Can any of you recommend someone?

At this point we are willing to accept any advice. Right now we are testing new accounts created/verified with icloud and phone number(both on the same account) and aged accounts. We keep adding fake followers daily like 15-20 twice a day hoping we are tricking the algorithm into thinking our account is followed by people.

Please leave questions down below because I might have left details out.

>> Followback ratio might not be even related to your sim card IP, but rather the psychology of peeps in your country. (From which country are you from?) Because in some countries like US etc, I've seen general clients/peeps who are very strict about keeping their followings lower than followers, but in some other countries, most of the people don't give a crap about that, and believe more in reciprocity (You follow - I follow back (out of respect or something, which more important to them than their ego of keeping their followings low.)).

"Are we doing too many actions in the first days?"

>> And I think you should A/B test some different warm-up strategies as well.

And are you currently using any tool for it or doing it manually? (Because honestly, I've seen actual people when doing repetitive tasks, act more like robots than robots themselves. XD)

Everything you say makes perfect sense to me. I would take longer time to warm-up the account, with increases every week instead of daily. I have gotten the same messages from IG and it got solved when I allowed longer wait times between actions. Also try to mix action types like scrolling and etc to look more human. I'm in the proccess of setting up a phone farm too so it'd be great to connect over Telegram to share strategies. Good luck in your journey.

We are doing it 100% MANUAL, NO software. We don't just log in, follow people, log out. we are doing multiple actions before and after following, like liking photos, watching reels etc.

About follow back ratio. We were wondering if a higher follow back ratio does somehow make a difference, because as I said the profiles that are doing F/U in our country last more than the ones in US UK AU and they don't get that error, that's why we are testing now adding fake followers while we follow people.

Honestly, this method of targeting other users based on their own ip address is absolute garbage. You can not target users from your own country based on your own ip address its absolute nonsense.

Do this, get an ip address from 5 different country's, search the same hashtag on each location, the results are the same! Why is this? because instagram knows we search these sources, imagine Meta letting us geo target like this, they basically sell ads for geo location targeting and you think they will give it us scott free? nonsense. Scrap this mindset of having any impact on your strategy

Your issue is simple, there was an update in November and your settings are aggressive that's it, you can't follow 10 users one day then 20 the next. They also set out a spam flag update so when you do all of this viewing reels and story views you get flagged for spam because it's not normal

It was only an assumption that the ip might influence the error. But I am starting to believe it's the follow back rate that's why we started buying 10-20 fake followers a day, but we will see when we finish the tests. We also bought 2 new accounts that had a lot of activity in the last 6 months, we will see how things work out with those.

any update on this test bro?

The accounts with lots of activity that we bought are working just fine for now and one more aged account that we kept adding followers to it. The 2 brand new accounts we created (icloud + pohne number) already showed the error after about 100 follows and we can't do more than 10 follows a day right now.

UPDATE: We tested everything that's out there when it comes to F/U on mobile, but nothing works. It seems like instagram decided to patch this method. No matter what u do at some point the "Try Again Later" error will pop up and you will can't do more than 10 follows a day. Most of the accounts can't do more than 60 follows a day(60 if u are lucky). The error won't disappear even if the profile is resting 2-5days, once u start following again the error pops up again after 10 follows. There is only one more thing to test and that's Antidetect browser with proxies and we kind of covered everything. If u guys have any other suggestions we are open to hear them. Thx

The limits are lowered after november, it seems more of a niche issue. But on my end I am able to follow and get 20-40 follow backs a day easy for OF Models.

Higher follow backs dont make a difference.

What kind of accounts do u use? We starting to believe it could be an IP/Country problem, maybe our country has a certain limit on following people outside of it. We will test again with iphones and 4g proxies using shadowrocket. Any other advice? Thank you!
