Instagram Engagement

I have a few Instagram Pages in various niches some of which have 20 - 30k+ followers but get only 200 - 300 likes per post i guess this much engagement makes my pages look too bad is there any way to increase the engagement?

That's a very low engagement for such an account in my opinion. You should try and post quality pictures, but not many of them. You don't want to spam your followers' feed. And don't buy fake followers if you want to have a good looking account.

Post larger pictures that take up more screen space. It doesn't make any sense to post a beautiful or intriging picture if you can barely see it! Not to mention you only have so much time to catch someones attention, and a larger image allows you a bigger opportunity (no pun intended) to do exactly that! Also maybe you want to look into joining (or putting together) a group that likes and comments on eachothers posts, I just recently began doing this and its increased my engagement by two fold.
