Hello,
are instagram engagement groups where all participants are in the same niche still a good way to grow? And is it safe?

IG could flag those as well, in my opinion the smaller and more private the groups the better.

Still effective. it depends on the quality of the accounts that engage with your content.

Hey! As far as I can tell, they still work. I haven't received any complaints from friends or clients that engagement groups have any negative impact.
Tbh, I think engagement groups are still a solid method. I would join large groups as well as niche groups. I usually recommend joining large groups for likes and smaller niche groups for comments.

They tend to work very well however you have to be active on their yourself and make sure you engage with other accounts too.
