Instagram engagement/explore page

Hello BlackHatWorld!

I have two instagram accounts(1-yeat old and 4 month old PVA) accounts in the travel/nature niches. the 1yr old account has 37k followers and helped me get into 30+ engagment groups. i send likes to the 4 month account, but it never makes it over 1.5k likes which i think means it never makes it to the explore page.

i also scrape on the 4-month old account and post high quality images off the explore page. does anyone have any suggestions for why this account isnt going viral?

I understand that engagement groups really help the algorithm notice your post's popularity, but I've heard this engagement must be more or less completed within an hour after the post is live.

Additionally, its more beneficial when your account is liked by other powerusers in your related niche. Meaning, random pet accounts shouldn't be engaging with motorcycle enthusiast accounts...the followers who would see your post in their explore page would not be interested in that content.
