Nah there are limits as far as I know. Anyone who does Instagram can know the approx limits. Wait for the other replies.

I guess there could be no limit if you are sending DM to your own followers or people who may have engaged with your profile. If you randomly DM people, that's when Instagram becomes suspicious of your activity.

Might be that texting your followers and the people you follow has no much limit. but do not go about texting random people. Especially sending inappropriate contents can get your account banned. Do not indulge in anything that might trigger a suspicion towards your activities.
we would send 20 DMs per hour without problems. To be on the safe side send max 25 DMS per every 2 hours (12-15 per hour)). Per account

Followers or no, engaged or no, you can't DM more than ~50DM/day.. There is actually a limit, and get blocked for the whole day
Only thing which is not limited : DM within an existing conversation
So, if you want unlimited DM, you have to make the others contact you first, but that's not the point..
One other thing that you may try, that I don't know the limit, is to share a post and send it to many people, don't know about that.

somehow never had the 50DM/day block yet. I have been sending more than 60/70 per day without issues as long as i kept ~15 per hour.

I wrote more than a 100 a day, but I can't remember how much of them had already an existing conversation..
That's why I can't tell the real number, some of'em were people I discussed with every day, some other were never
I was outreaching in the same time as nurturing conversations with followers, so I can't have a fixed number of how much new DM, but for sure there is a limit

Never. IG sets limits on almost all interactions including viewing stories (in some cases)

From YOUR personal account no, I'm paying a VA's to manually set up new accounts daily to send 50K DMs. Mother/Slave will get you around IG limits as well. I miss the old days mannn..
