1- Have you tried Instagram DMs?
2- What was the ration of conversation to lead per 1000 DMs?
3- How many followers did you get per 1000 DMs?

Personally I never read the Request section in Instagram so wonder if people really check it :) And, what can be the ratio of CTA? :)
 
instagam dms are not effective. try mentions or follow unfollow. instagram is strict about dms,

0.2-2% max for the DM's which goes into requests.
 
Most people now don't check message requests. If you target relevant audience, you will get good results with follow/unfollow/comment.
 
ig dms is not great this days. it demand more time to manage and less results
 
It's a waste of time for most people who try it

Dms are not very effective because they get sent into spam.
