Instagram DM limits?

Hey guys,

First time posting here, have been building a dog product related operation here, ~$5k sales monthly online now, mostly customers from social media, Instagram has been a great one.

Was wondering if anyone had grappled with DM limits? I don't want to run awry of spam filters, but outreach to popular Instagram dogs has been pivotal in the success so far.

Would love your guys input. Like bots have been pretty effective, but I was enjoying the recent success with DMing before I got cut off "for security". Hoping its temporary

we have tried a few accounts. We got as high as 150 DM per day, as low as 30.
The limit seems to be related to fan size, age of account, the device you are posting from, how aggressive you post (delay between DMs), image (if you are sending a picture) etc
if we got blocked, it is usually between 12-18 hrs
