Instagram DM limit

Hi, I want to open a marketplace where I need Instagram businesses to sell on my platform. I plan to send them a DM on Instagram with a link to the registration page. I will be doing everything through my personal and old user account and will be sending the messages manually to increase the limit as possible.

I wanted to ask those who regularly send DMs on Instagram about the safe number of messages that can be sent per hour and per day without being blocked. should I send different messages, and how many templates should I create?

Hello there!

I want to share my experience with DM outreach for my business. As my business grew, I decided to create multiple high-quality Instagram accounts related to my main page. Each account had fake followers to enhance credibility and I was able to outreach to thousands of people per day.

I sent a message to people and redirected them to my main page, where I automated all the DMs from my main page. In terms of limits, it really depends on the situation. Sending 20 DMs per day sounds like a good number, but I suggest doing your own tests. Instagram will only temporarily block you from sending DMs for that specific day if you reach the limit.

I would recommend testing the limits and seeing how many DMs you can send before being blocked. Hopefully, this information is helpful to you.

My 2 cents on this approach would be 1st generating leads by offering something very quality for free (via the DMs), to get their email/response and their trust. And then take it from there in the sales funnel.

10-50 depends on account age, activity, trust score etc

Yes great approach. I did it slightly different by cold outreaching the potential lead, and then sending them to my instagram automation funnel, where i did all the retargeting.

You can send DM to new followers mostly 5 an hour and 30-40 a day if the account is good.
Also, you can reply to pending DM's as they have much higher limits.

20 to 30 dms maximum .... and its also depend on quality of IG accounts.... and yes use clocking link to promote your website...

15 to 20 it really depends in the account sometimes could be more but you need to test it, nothing bad will happen you will receive just a message that you reach a limit to send DMs next day all should be fine again.

DM to new followers :

New Account :

2-4 dm's/hour and 15-25 dm's/day

Warmed up and old account :

4-8 dm's/hour and 30-60 dm's/day

DM to non-followers :

New Account :

1-2 dm's/hour and 5-10 dm's/day

Warmed up and old account :

3-4 dm's/hour and 15-25 dm's/day

Is this limit exist even if I send the DMs manually and don't use a bot? And would it help to send a different message each time?

Prefer manually and not a bot and no unique dm's won't matter at all

Depends on your account. On new accounts around 10 per day are enough. On older accounts around 45-50 but you may get blocked while testing this.

Thanks for the limits - do the DMs that are sent to non-followers go to spam or do they still get some kind of notification that they have a new message?

does it matter to use proxies or not for sending 15 DMs per day from each account, 4 per hour?

say for example I want to have 10 accounts with my home IP for sending every day?

When you send dm to non-followers, it sends them a notification that X username has send you a message request but they will not recieve notifications if it's off in their settings so depends on account, but dm send to non-followers will go to message requests only not inbox
