Instagram delete the followers ?

Hello,

I was following someone who was using the Mother/Child strategy and had over 100,000 subscribers thanks to this strategy. Now the account has even 5-10,000 followers. How does this happen? Can Instagram delete the followers and detect this strategy?

are you sure all the 100k were real? IG deletes fake accounts every here and there, most likely their core base of followers wasn't thanks to mother/child.

If those are not real accounts(users), once they are found they will delete those accounts.

Yeah I believe Instagram may delete suspicious accounts.

Instagram doesnt delete followers but could delete the accounts. If the accounts will be deleted you will lose that followers. That happens when you have fake followers. Try to get real followers than bots

Organic followers are way better than fake ones, instagram finds out (pretty much always) about fake accounts and will delete them + lower your engagement rate

Yeah, it's probably fake subs, Instagram frequently use to delete fake accounts or bots.
