It is certainly harder than before but far from dead especially if you make original content. They are investing a lot into video content so things like reels perform well if done nicely.

Like a lot of things, people are easy to call things "saturated" or "dead" but how many tried seriously? Also it's all relative, if you compare it to Tik Tok where it's easier to get a lot of reach as it's still in a growing phase, then it's easy to say that. Also what matters is where your target market is at the end of the day.

No hugely funded platform “just” dies…the only major decline to expect will be that it's organic reach will decrease with time. But the paid ads will work.
