Instagram deactvated account for impersonation

Hi guys,

as the title says one of the accounts I manage got deactivated wrongly because someone reported it for impersonation. When I try to login via the app, it sends me to a help page where I can appeal. However when I try and upload government ID for this account, the attach/upload button doesn't work! I've tried from two different android devices.

Is there a way to find this "exact" page to upload the government ID on PC? I've searched around and no luck. I can't even find a way to report the page is broken! tells me to need to login to a report a problem. How can I login if the account is deactivated?!

I hope one of you can shed some light on this chicken/egg problem.

Search on google 'contact instagram' and you will find everything you need. It's a miracle!

• Settings will open up.

• Find the 'Support' heading.

Hi so, I see your new here. So I'll try be nice. It would help to read my post before replying. I'm locked out of the account, I can't login. So how am I going to do that from the app?

My workaround in the end was to use a iPhone to login and follow the instructions and it let me attach a photo. Annoying but hope this helps someone.

I had something similar happen to me; i downloaded an new app that enables you to see whos not following you back and then as soon as i entered my username/password my account was locked out and i needed to verify it using an ID. So I went to google and google their support team and after a while i managed to find the correct person to contact. Sent them an email in their website and they should usually get back to you.

I had them get back to me within half an hour, but after i sent another message i never heard from them again lol so it's you and your luck. And no i didn't get my account back because i was begging for them to unlock it. I couldn't provide ID since it was a fake account aswell

Anyways, moral of story is that you can contact them online using your internet. Just make sure you input your correct details and hopefully they get back to you. Good luck OP
