Hi BHW!
Yesterday I saw a YT video from someone that does IG copywriting to make posts/reels virals and he is copying the same strategy every single time. I tried to find the video again but I have no Lucky so this is basically the idea of the tool/software .

He built a tool to scrape content in real time based on hashtag volume, or audio volume so he knows which content is viral and other trends setup.

After watching this I had the idea to make a similar tool for the members of this forum but I have the idea from a video and not based on experience.

So , if any of you are currently doing this please share your thoughts about building a tool like this only for copywriting purpose and share for free with the community.

I think it can be useful for someone.
Lets make a discussion.

Idea is useful but scraping alone is not enough. Most viral posts work because of timing and hook not just trend data. Without testing loop tool will miss real winners.

Yeah! You made a point.
For scrape the content I noticed that a login is required so the code will need that and also store the login details into the same tool.

I'm trying to understand how viral posts work first.

Building a tool to track viral trends is honestly such a smart move. Just make sure you nail the data scraping part first, because having the right insights is everything when you're trying to win the algorithm game

I'm interested in this tool, I hope you'll finish it soon.

Nice idea but on Instagram data alone isn’t enough — execution matters.

Key questions: how do you turn trends into better hooks, filter real vs fake trends, and adapt per niche?

I Will do it , trust me.

I'm coding already so wait for it.

The idea is valid, but relying only on hashtag volume or audio usage is too shallow to consistently identify viral content. What actually matters is a combination of metrics like engagement rate, watch time/retention, and how fast content gains traction (velocity). The real value of such a tool would be in extracting patterns - especially hooks, captions, and content structures that repeat across high-performing posts.

From a practical standpoint, start with a simple MVP that tracks a few key signals and surfaces actionable insights rather than raw data. Also keep in mind that data access and platform limitations (APIs, scraping risks) will be your main challenge.

If you build it for the community, focus on clarity and usability over complexity - even basic insights can be very powerful if presented correctly.

For your messages:

I coded a search bar for hashtags, usernames and locations etc and this Will give back as result :
Reels , posts , some similar hashtags or accounts all this data filtered.
How filters work?

The filters work by volume. If you search for #blackhatworld you will get as primary responses the data with higher volume, recent or the accounts that have used this hashtag.

Right now everything its a mess in the code but I Will make it work well.

For now please keep the thread alive so I can read all your suggestions and ideas.

Thank you!
