Hello i come back to this forum to ask if gambling sponsors are legit & legal, and if it is even legal for me to promote this. They are offering a lot of $$$ but i dont know if i can handle the morals behind the betting/casino industry and legitimacy of this company especially with some negative reviews of people getting refused withdrawal. Anyone experienced with these types of sponsors? I know football clubs etc have bookie/betting sponsors but this company doesnt seem to have major sponsors and idk if they are legit. Also the degrading reputation, some people irl know my page and you know in society this stuff is frowned upon so idk if I can stomach that but somewhere in the 5 figures monthly its life changing money it all seems too good to be true.

The major thing is does this company have to be regulated in my country for me to be able to promote it? Because it is unregulated where I am but it is regulated where all the other casino/betting companies are like Stake, Rollbit etc are licensed in Curacao. Like this isnt a deal I can brush aside because its life changing and want to make sure I do what I can do take it without regulatory, legal, or state consequences.

Gambling or "gaming" ads on Instagram are, as far as I'm aware, allowed. Legality will vary depending on location, but on the platform itself it's allowed. There's a lot of asterisks involved with it though, restrictions and permissions from Meta, that sort of thing.

Hmm these guys were sketchy anyway. I wanted a sign up bonus of a few hundred to get started and said they cant do pre-payment. So how can I expect them to pay me in the thousands-tens of thousands monthly. I think they were trying to be smart and get free exposure for a month and not pay me out in the end because I asked either for a written contract or pre-payment and they rejected. What I recommend in the online business space is get as much payment up front as possible because its not surprising that people will scam and try not paying.

Yeah. Either go for some contract or Escrow Service. If they disagree, then say 'thank you' and move on, and save yourself from some potential scam.

One way to go about it. Never much engaged with these type of thing online so that's food for thought.

Yes thank you for this. They offered such a high amount and when I asked for escrow (pre-payment) or contract. They immediately said I wasnt fit for the high pay range of 1,000s-10,000s and dropped me to the 100s-1000s range. What I learned in business is that, dont believe anyone until the money hits your account or at least some money. But im happy because neither party loses anything and we all go our way, its worse if you agree then later down the line they dont pay.

Good defending tactics. Look for the red flags when you start putting terms and see how they react. They just uncover themselves so you dodged a bullet.

These type of ads are always sketchy, avoid them completely or you could be in legal troubles later.

Depends a lot in the specific sponsor, might and might not be a scam. Resarch them, read their comments and search for reviews before making your decision.
