To scedule instagram posts by linking my fb account and page does the fb page need to have any content on it and does the fb account name, need to match the same name on my instagram account to be eligible to scedule posts, through websites like buffer, later and other sceduling tools?

or can i link a blank fb page and a fb account with a different name to my instagram account, so i can scedule posts?

No need to have content on your FB account to be able to link to IG and use a scheduler.
 
you can use any facebook account even if it's blank
 
They just need an FB Account and page, it doesnt need to be yours or have to match the name from your IG at all

i'm trying connect my vinstagram account the fb acc and page but everytime i try to do this i keep getting this message,
your request couldn't be processed: there was a problem with this request.

ive cleared cache, tried reinstalling both fb and instagram and relogging into both accounts and tried doing it in chrome, but i just get this message every time and ive tried using another fb account with a page but still no luck.
ffs instagram why do they have to make it so damn difficult to just scedule posts arrghhh

can you attach a screenshot and also is your ig account a business account?

why do you need to see a screenshot what differenece will that do, yes its abusiness account and i dont have any restrictions or account violations

You have the option to utilize any Facebook account, even if it doesn't have any information
 
You don't need to have any content on your Facebook page or have the same name to schedule posts. U can use a scheduling tool like Buffer or Hootsuite after the linkage.

And also its quite easy. From instagram itself they have a quite easy workflow for this. I remember doing this once. I just had to click "Next" "Next" "Next". And it automatically connected to FB, created a page on fb by taking some of the info from Instagram automatically and then linked to it on its own. You don't even have to do anything separately.

Yup a blank account should work just fine.
