Instagram Automation Journey

UPDATE #3

End of week 3 - here are 2 accounts fresh out of warmup [see update 2 for warmup actions].. One account is running RPA actions only [real phone automation] this includes scraping the likers from targets for stories to view and like. the other account is running API based story actions aswell. Attached you'll see that API runs about 2 - 3 times as many actions however the RPA is safer overall because all the actions are ran on the phone, seacrching / scraping for targets included which is also why its slower / performing less actions. RPA has proven great for account warmups since we can use the RPA to just scroll and watch stories on a physical device while randomizing actions to look more humanlike. Engagement on all of the accounts is high, as are the number of DMs they're receiving. we have an Ai chatbot in place to reply to DMs and send a CTA after so many messages. Also attached are the prompts we use for the GPT4 chatbot. You'll see that we've not put any links in the bio and instead are offering to send the link if it comes up in the DM chats.. this is because we want to avoid leaving a footprint on IG by using the same link on several accounts.. we'll create multiple linktrees / beacons, etc after the accounts grow in size.

@SuStudio Do you or your business partner offer anything to resell for resellers/white labelers?

What automation platform do you use and why is it better than SuSocial? (Trying to pick one and don't know anything about them.)

Also, can you say which companies offer proxies that work on IG? From all the reading I've done, nothing except rotating 4G proxies work. But you're saying there are static non-mobile ones that work. Every thread I've read seems to say eventually residential ones will get banned and then get your pages banned. How do you deal around this?

Also, do you believe someone who says that "as long as you slowly over 2 weeks work your way up to 300 follow-unfollows a day, you can successfully do it without being banned, even on a low trust score account"?

Is it better to do your feed likes, story views, and story likes on pages that you've already used your follows on or entirely different pages? Basically, which actions should be used together and separately on target pages?

With maximum actions, about how many followers per month can you expect to get? (I know it varies by page/theme, but generally.)

Feel free to PM answers if you don't want to answer publicly. I PMed you but didn't hear back. By the way, not a leach or anything. A friend and me are looking to manage 20-50 theme pages at once for fun and promos mostly, eventually hoping to point them to our agency we've been wanting to open, and we are new but learning like crazy.

Sharingtools. Could not tell you which platform is better.. suggest you look in forums and in their telegram groups to see user experience

our mobile proxy & IPV4 proxies came from Proxy-Sale.com and we have residential from ProxyCheap [high quality] and Flow Proxies [BHW vendor - free trial].. we haven't had problems with any yet.

cant say i've ever read or seen someones achieving 300/day.. maybe 200.. i've pulled off a high amount of follows on a new account by warning on a phone and following no more than 10 - 12 an hour.. also making sure to visit some users pages before following. just have to test with different factos [desktop, mobile, new vs. aged].

new pages / new users. the goal with actions [like, views, follows] is to notify the user and bring attention to your page.. then move on to the next.. you can choose to like the stories of the accounts you follow [in your home feed] in case they havent followed you back yet.

Guys like NikGreyHat on BHW could answer this better. if running an M/C strategy the number of followers you can get each month is only limited by the number of child accounts you run.. if just running one account and doing actions and follows yourself, you can definitely hit 1000 followers in a month.. this requires good targets to interact with [users who enjoy your type of content], regular posting within a well defined niche.

with theme pages, the rate of growth can be even faster depending on how many times you post per day [1, 3, 5], quality of the content - does it align with your niche and targeted audience / who your engaging with [liking, following, etc]. with reposting i suggest a tool that will schedule posts or allow you to automatically source posts from designated pages from TikTok and / or IG to repost.. if from Instagram just be sure to change the caption and meta data -- some repost tools will do this for you or a download bot on telegram.. or give credit to the original poster..

Awesome thread, awesome responses, and awesome info. Thanks! Will be back with a few more questions. I love studying this stuff and your journey is inspiring.

@SuStudio A few more follow-up questions!

1. Why four different proxy types? Which proxy do you use and from which company for the actual posting and managing of a main IG page? And pay by the GB or unlimited bandwidth?

2. How long have you used the proxy companies?

3. Do you ever get assigned a high-fraud IP proxy? If so, does it effect performance in that IG shadowbans you or logs you out of your account?

4. Are your proxy IPs from USA or not? Does a non-USA proxy reduce reach to USA audience and prevent gaining USA followers?

5. How often do/should the proxy rotate when managing a page?

6. Regardless of whatever you're on (SuSocial, Sharingtools, etc.), is it best for IG to be told by your user agent that you're posting from a phone or a desktop? Or does it matter? I've read that desktop=death to an account.

7. What ratio of follow and unfollows if you want to end with your page following 0 people? For example, should we eventually end up doing 150 unfollows per day while doing 75 follows (2:1 ratio)?

8.

With this, I was asking about the amount of expected followers typically gained per month if using follow-unfollow, story views, story likes, and feed likes from your own page via automation and also posting good content, not mother-child strategy. I assume you knew that though and just mentioned mother-child because it's similar in growth or not? Either way, 1,000+ followers per month minimum with maximum automation performing, as long as there is already decent content on the page during the actions, correct?

9. In your experience, with a theme page, how many followers per month can typically be gained by just posting decent content 2-4 times a day alone (posting, without any automation, follow-unfollow, etc.) if your page is <5,000 followers? Is 2,000-5,000+ followers/month from posting realistic to expect?

10. My thoughts: For automation, reaching the maximum potential followers per day would be done by: F/UF+story views to one batch of people (A), as well as feed likes and story views to another batch of people (B), and then story views and story likes to another batch of people (C). Instead of spending all actions on profiles, each profile only gets two actions to maximize the reach of the actions. Is this correct?

11. Some posters on BHW have said that doing more than 2,000-5,000 story views per day gets your page put in a "spam" filter. True or not? But one person on here claims to run 10,000 story views per day for clients of all account types with no problems. What would you say is the maximum story view limit per day on a warmed up page?

Sorry for so many questions, really doing a hardcore crash study on all of this, especially with the particulars of your journey. Won't bug you with bunches of questions again but I'm geeking out right now and can't help it.

For the past month i been learning growth hacking or Instagram automations in order to manage and grow multiple client accounts on Instagram. The automation tool / provider i'm using was selected based on reviews from sources i trust and because of the active Telegram community and support for the tool. Support is essential for beginners like me.

I started with one IG account [~6 months old, 47 existing posts, 460 followers] using an engagement strategy on the tool: story views, story likes, story answers [polls, quizzes, etc] and post likes.

I chose 47 targets [similar IG accounts, followers, followings, Hashtags, etc] for my scrapers to collect data from before my main account would then use this data [collected users] to engage with.

Within the first 24 hours of running the tool i had gained 47 new followers for a total of 507 followers.

All things being equal, i did not post to the account or do anything other than let the tool run over that 24hr period.

From this point, growth stalled almost immediately after that first 24hr period and i havent been able to replicate this initial single day growth [~10%]. However the account has continued growing and seeing better engagememt.

I've tried resting the account / tool for 72hrs in case i had been flag or action blocked.. And later in my testing i halted for 5 days,
I've also posted 5 times and experimented with settings by eliminating mass actions like story views and story likes. .

3 weeks later and the account has 540 followers and better engagement on all posts. however it was not a smooth 3 weeks as indicated above [<user error] and i'm certain follower growth can improve

Going forward, i will be keeping close track of any and all inputs for my own benefit and to share as i make future updates to my journey.

Testing this week:

- Adding new aged accounts ~8yrs old

- 4G or residential proxy

- warmup process - for new [aged] account, to build trust score and ultimately allow the account to carry out a high number of actions / reactions everyday without problems, AKA run and grow smoothly on the tool.

Testing this Month:

- Mother / Child method

- Chat bots for comments & DMs
very old school method but well done ::))))

It would be interesting to see the follower engagement levels for followers you gained through the automation. I used a comment automation tool back in 2016 and some of the followers I gained still view/like my posts and stories !

@SuStudio Won't pester you again, but need to know: Do you use static residential proxies (1 for each page) or do you use rotating mobile proxies (with some of your pages offline while others are online)? Are your proxies in Sharingtools set to where each page is only on one static IP while it's online or what? Studying this hard but can't find clear answers for how to proceed.

Hey did you buyed the instagram accounts or made them yourself !

Any update with this journey? Interested!

Hey man, hit my dm's ive got a solution for you. Im deep in the insta automation trenches

Respect the detail — scraping target accounts then engaging them is solid. My question: how many aged accounts do you need before the ROI starts making sense?
