Websites like GREMLNdotcom and applications like Hootsuite have options available for Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms so content can be published with uploaded images according to a predetermined schedule or at recurring intervals. I would love to be able to schedule content to publish at exact times for me while I'm working throughout the day for Instagram as well.

Is there an automated content publishing application, website or service that will do the same for Instagram?

Have you found a paid program/website that does it?

From what I know there aren't any public services for this. You need to use the private API which most people don't know how to do.

I may be able to whip up something to do this but not sure if I have time to do it anytime soon.

Totally recommend a developper, but if you want the free, hard, bugged way, go with iMacro, upload all your images to one folder, record 1 action to upload and hashtagging, and than change every single one with the name.jpg and hashtag, and set after each upload WAIT SECONDS: 3600 or whatever( this is for 1h)

Followliker software does it. But unlike with websites such as hootsuite, you'll need your computer turned on for it to work.

Yeah followliker will. You give the image a filename which is the text you want to accompany it, then set your account to post twice a day. Then you just have to drop new images in that folder. You could set up dropbox so you could do it from anywhere.
