Hello everyone! I'm trying to develop new sources for myself. I'm interested in your opinions. Is Instagram suitable for investment-based traffic? Of course, the country plays a big role. Could you recommend which countries would benefit from this resource?

It all depend on propose niche content page trying to promote with ads in target locations if allowed/accept with ads policy, some niches are excepted from ads promotion authentication which may cause suspend on profile.

What sort of investment? But generally if you can make a reel out of something then u can find clients on ig

I keep getting DM on Instagram related to investments - so I believe it might work. I'm this case I mean mass dm sending from a bunch of accounts.

Just think of IG as a way to trust-building channel, not exactly direct sales. That aside, the best GEOs are usually the tier 1 advertising counties (US, UK, CA, AU), with some EU countires being a pretty decent balance.
Quite likely you'll need a funnel (not direct linking) to make it work consistently.

It mainly depends on the niche you’re promoting and whether it aligns with the platform’s advertising policies in your target locations. Some categories have stricter requirements or may need additional verification, and if those conditions aren’t met, it can lead to restrictions. It’s best to review the policies for your niche and ensure everything is set up properly before running ads.

Instagram can work, but it is not the easiest for investment traffic.
It is more top-of-funnel (content, trust building), not direct conversions.
GEO-wise, I have seen US, UK, Canada and some EU countries perform better, but creatives matter way more than country here.

leveraging Instagram for investment traffic, I've found that targeting Tier 2 markets like Brazil and Southeast Asia can be highly effective, with costs 30-40% lower than in Tier 1 countries. However, it's crucial to focus on building trust through high-quality content, as direct conversions are rare on the platform. In my experience, using a mix of 70% educational content and 30% promotional content has resulted in a 25% increase in engagement and a 15% increase in conversions. Additionally, utilizing Instagram's features like IGTV and Reels can help increase reach and credibility, with Reels alone accounting for a 20% boost in traffic to my investment websites.

In my experience, Instagram can work for investment-based traffic, but it depends heavily on targeting and content quality rather than just the country. High-income regions like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia usually perform better because users there are more open to investing, but competition is also higher. Instead of focusing only on location, I’d suggest building trust through educational content, case studies, and consistent posting (especially Reels and carousels). Also, using proper funnels (like landing pages) helps convert traffic better rather than sending users directly. Overall, it works, but requires patience and a strong content strategy.

It is possible, but the prerequisites are quite stringent. It is suitable for high-margin products that are highly visually driven (capable of quickly capturing attention via Reels) and allow for private domain engagement (via Telegram, WhatsApp, or a standalone website).

Instagram can be a strong platform for the investing niche, especially with formats like Reels that help reach new audiences. It can also be effective to focus on markets where there’s higher interest in financial content, while making sure your messaging is relevant and compliant with platform guidelines.

Best countries to target:
United States → highest spending power, strong finance interest
United Kingdom → good for trading/investing niches
Canada & Australia → high trust + solid conversions
Germany → good for long-term investing audience

Instagram can work for investment traffic, but not for direct selling.

It is better for building trust first, then sending people to a funnel like a landing page. Ads or mass messages alone do not work well long-term.

Tier 1 countries (US, UK, Canada, Australia) give better leads but cost more.
Tier 2 countries (Brazil, Southeast Asia) are cheaper but need more trust building.

In short words Instagram is for attention and trust, not quick sales. Content and funnel matter more than country.

Most of those accounts are from spam bots. You can't make a solid conclusion from that.
